Vicky Lee started with the Sea Around Us as a volunteer while finishing her fourth year of Biology undergraduate studies at The University of British Columbia. After graduating, she transitioned into a research assistant position.
She became interested in aquatic and marine sciences after completing the Bamfield Marine Sciences program with UBC. Now, Vicky wants to further explore the application of statistics and data science in aquatic biology.
She is ecstatic to be part of the Sea Around Us team and to learn more about the world of fisheries science.
In her free time, she enjoys competitive dragon-boating, hiking, jamming to music, hanging with friends, and playing video games.
