Amy Coghlan – Research Assistant

AmyHeadShotAmy Rose Coghlan studied at the University of Western Australia and the University of Otago in New Zealand. She completed her BSc honours project on the biases associated with stereo Baited Remote Underwater Video systems (Stereo-BRUV) used to sample fish biodiversity, abundance, and length, at the Abrolhos Islands off the Western Australian coast. Afterwards, she worked as a divemaster in Indonesia and the Great Barrier Reef. The year before joining the Sea Around Us  Amy travelled in the US and Nicaragua before arriving in Vancouver. She is excited about experiencing her first winter in two years!
